Imagine having a house with eight doors. I think you would sometimes forget to close all the doors! But I hope to God that if you ever forget to close one – just like the story of “Namaki’ where she forgot to close the eighth door – the same thing that happened to her doesn’t happen to you and a beast doesn’t enter your house! Now Namaki has to figure out a way to throw the beast out the house…

“Namaki” is an Old Iranian folktale that tries to convey the importance of wit and intelligence in solving one’s problems. Through this story, children learn that no matter how big and serious a problem seems, there’s always a way out.
