Taxi for the Honorable Chickens

Ruby is a cab driver and – except for the Dog – he picks every one up. Whenever he sees the rooster and the chickens, his mouth starts to water. They never get in his car. He doesn’t waste any time and plans dangerous plots. The Dog – who is his enemy – also has a dangerous plot. Which one of them will be successful? This story has several endings. You can help them win or lose as well! Come along inside the story and write another ending for it.

This chapter book is from the five title series of “The Open-Ended Stories”, that is full of animals, people and unpredictable adventures; a kid grows a tail, and a sparrow loses her chirps. The writer has come up with three different endings for each story, but the fourth ending is of much more importance. It must be written by the reader. Who knows! The best endings written by children might even become a separate book under their own name!
