My Mother Jackdaw

“My Mother Jackdaw” is the story of a girl named Shabahang whose life drastically changes after her
mother’s suicide. Throughout the story, Shabahang tries to find the reasons behind her mother’s decision and cope with her loss. A jackdaw builds a nest on their terrace, which Shabahang associates with the presence of her mother.
